Marni for HM

Less than 24 hours until H&M launches their new collaboration with Marni! I'm a little excited but unfortunately I won't be able to attend the festivities due to work but I'm hoping most of you will be able to! The collection seems pretty intriguing. With a 60s/70s flare mixed with modern style, I am very likely to grab something before it's too late! But I will wait until it's a bit warmer. I mean, waiting online on a dewey, brisk March day isn't worth me waiting on line lol! Lets face it, it'll still be there! But I can understand if you want the goods then by all means, do as you feel. Plus, in order to get the good deals, you'd have to be one of the first 300 people on the line to get it! They also have a shopping limit of 2 pieces of each item to intend to purchase & you can't get like S in this & M in that. Has to be the same size!!! Pretty unfair if you ask me! Per H&M:

"The first 300 people in line will be given a colored bracelet; there are 10 colors with one for each group of 30 customers. Your color determines when it’s your time to shop in the designer collection area. Each group will have 15 minutes to shop, with 5 minutes between slots. The bracelets are only for customers shopping the Marni collection and are used to shorten the queue and make your shopping experience easier."

Let's hope if you don't like anything, you can return it! Because with the Versace launch, boy oh boy was it a hassle to return anything. Everything was taken & nothing much was left. & this was just a few weeks after the purchase. Happy Shopping!!! <3

Moschino Part Deux ;)

As I was browsing earlier on the Moschino site, I came across this Men's Jacket. It's lavish & I am loving the red! I am nowhere near a fan of red but this is something I would put one of my male clientele in! Some dark denim, a nice button up shirt, a bow tie & some loafers & a nice watch to complete the look!

I'm sure my clients would love me for hooking them up lol! This is definitely the right jacket to use when your out with your lady, taking a stroll in SoHo & just enjoying each others company. Or if you're not taken, definitely show up to the club in this jacket; just don't take it off! & please, play this jacket off right. I would hate to see a dude in an $800 jacket & wearing forces or Jordan's with this jacket. Like, come on! Be a little more creative!

Moschino

I'm soo hoping I can get this Moschino Belt! It is my dream for a while to get it. First they were sold out. Then they took it off their site. But now, it's back!!! & I couldn't be any happier. It'll definitely match my G-shock & when I pair them with my Lita Jeffrey Campbells ;) ... perfection! I've already got the perfect outfit for it too! <3

Better things await.

I'm planning this trip to Atlanta with my two good friends Danielle & Sylvanna. They are the craziest duo ever & we all live soo far apart! Danielle lives in North Carolina & Sylvanna lives in Boston! Danielle really keeps me going most times, giving me strength as well as being my shoulder to cry on when I tell her about the struggles of my life! Sylvanna is a trip! No lie! Lmao! She really makes my day with her obscene behavior. She's rude as ever but a great person at heart. She's not afraid to tell it like it is & that's what I love about her!

The three of us will run Atlanta, i'm sure. But I just want to enjoy myself & forget about NJ for like a week & then I hope to fly out to Barbados after that. I need a real vacation. Step out of U.S. soil & really embrace life. NJ is not where I see myself a year from now. I hope in a year, i'm finished with school & on my way to something better. Cause this garden state shit is killing me bro! -_____-

RuckSack Backpacks

Here is the second trend on my Spring+Summer 2012 trends list: RUCKSACK BAGS! I am too excited to buy one. These are perfect for when your traveling, sleeping over a friends house or maybe out & about in the city. Their stylish & they seem easy to carry. I just adore the patterns that some of them come in! I love the solid colored ones too. If you're tired of your regular old handbag, go for one of these. They'll come in handy.

Where to buy: I would try googling these bags! I can't say these are inexpensive but the cheapest I've seen is from at least $35! but they run pretty pricey, so do your search well.

what's in my bag

[inspired by LemonParfait!] so every girl has their little essentials in their bag & well these are mine! <3 My bag is from Forever21. An MCM Wallet that was given to me as a gift. My favorite fragrance from BBW - Into The Wild! My Nook Tablet, My little Pink Chiffon lotion from BBW, which cost me a $1!!! Cocoa Creme Liplicious lipgloss & my cell phone (which I really dislike lol! but I shouldn't complain because my mommy pays my bill!)

Burberry Wellington boots

These will be next purchase in the next few weeks! I was browsing one of my splurge shops I love & I came across these Burberry Weather boots. Winter is about to be over but these will be great for the up-coming Spring showers! What got my attention was the big zipper on the back of the boot. They're simple, cute & you can wear them with almost anything! Retail price is $350.00. Depending on where you live, sales tax might be a great deal or it might not be lol! I put my moms address in NY & sales tax is $31!!! while I put the address where I live in NJ & it's $.70! So make sure your sales tax isn't like $30+! I would go to the Burberry store to see just how they fit but i'm sure they'll be comfortable. they also have them in a black/grey plaid pattern.

What Would I Wear: I would definitely wear my fave skinnies, a simple tee & a trench coat! Keep it cute & stylish. That's the way to go ladies! 

New Girl in Town!

Welcome to a new blog by me, Couture! I go by many names (people just can't seem to call me by Michelle anymore lol)! You CAN call me Michelle or you can call me Melly ;) I hope to give you what others can't always give you & that's my undivided attention!
